嘉宾介绍

马友伟博士,洛桑联邦理工学院Scientist。于上海交通大学化学化工学院取得博士学位。研究兴趣包括(1)可回收、可重塑动态共价聚合物的开发、构效关系研究及应用;(2)利用动态化学实现传统缩合聚合物(例如聚脲、聚氨酯、聚酰胺等)的解聚与回收;(3)以生物质为原料开发高性能、高附加值可循环生物塑料及探索相关应用。已在Chem. Rev.、Angew. Chem. Int. Ed.、Nat. Rev. Mater.、Nat. Commun.、Adv. Funct. Mater.、Macromolecules等知名期刊发表论文三十余篇。



报告介绍

Dynamic polymers are a class of polymers cross-linked by reversible, (non-)covalent bonds. The past two decades have witnessed the development of a wide array of reversible chemical motifs, which ultimately led to the establishment of a large scope of dynamic polymer materials. Among these motifs, the β-dicarbonyl skeleton has emerged as a modular platform to synthesize dynamic polymers leveraging either metal-ligand coordination or exchangeable covalent linkages via dynamic covalent chemistry. The high modularity and intrinsic dynamic nature of the β-dicarbonyl motif have garnered considerable interest across diverse fields, such as drug delivery, development of sustainable polymers, 3D printing, and actuators. In this talk, I will present the dynamic bonds derived from β-dicarbonyl synthons, including metal-β-dicarbonyl coordination bonds, vinylogous urethane, hydroxylketoenamide, aminoketoenamide, and β‐(1,3‐dioxane) ester. This is accompanied by the elaboration of the structure–property relationships of corresponding dynamic polymers, synthesized by direct polymerization, post-polymerization modification, or cross-linking of small molecules, commercial polymers, and even food protein waste. The related chemistry and materials knowledge then catalyze the application of these polymers in several fields, with the examples of chemical re-/up-cycling, food packaging, and wearable sensors, among others, which will be introduced as well.  The final part provides my view on the future challenges and prospects pertaining to this class of dynamic polymer systems.
